My old friends will shoot me for posting this... This is my 13th birthday party. Karen is in the red. I'm standing on the right. YIKES!
We adopted our one cat, Baby (mommy to Samantha) from our friends Vanessa and Dave a couple of years ago, and Vanessa even had her mother notarize the adoption paper!
I was in Vanessa & Dave's wedding on Halloween in 1998. I'm on the far left.
That was one of THE coolest weddings I've ever been to!
In 1993, my friend Debbie and her then-boyfriend Joe talked me and my boyfriend Clinton into this Christmas photo with Santa.
(Oh, by the way, my hair - TOTALLY fake. Well, the front is mine, but the length is a hairpiece!)
This is me with my friend Rich Meyer sometime in 1998, probably. He lets me sing with him, for some unknown reason...
(I THINK Debbie Pinto took the photo - ?)
Every year my best friend from when I lived in South Philly, Karen, had a very cool Halloween party at her house. She's dressed as Betsy Ross (in the back). I'm the cat!
Karen with me and with her husband Steve at their wedding in 1992. Steve and Karen now have two beautiful children, Rebecca and baby Shane.
The company has since been sold twice and is now Commonwealth Business Media, but when I was hired at my last job, I was so thrilled that I had my husband take this photo! (These days I'm freelancing from home instead...)
I've always loved this photo of my best friend Marie. It was taken by Tom's brother-in-law Steve Helber at our wedding in 1998. Marie was matron of honor.
Marie & I met in college, hung out together, shared an apartment in the early 90s, worked together at NAPCO (she got my foot in the door, so to speak!) were each other's maids-of-honor when we got married... you get the idea!
Aside from being so obviously stunning (!!!), Marie is bright and talented as well. She is the founder, owner and Editorial Director of PrintWriter.com, the premier news and information service for the printing industry. She and her husband John have two gorgeous daughters, Victoria and Elizabeth.
Before I had a digital camera, I did video captures for quick JPEGs I could e-mail out.
This was a Halloween costume I wore in 2001 (I'd also worn it a few years back as well, but can't find any of those photos).
The dress is store-bought, but I made the mantilla from a couple of combs in my hair and some black lace from a fabric store.
Again - fake hair, similar to the hairpiece in the Santa photo, plus I had to darken my own blond highlights up front to match the hairpiece.
